Scatec Solar publishes its 2014 report on sustainability

Oslo, April 24, 2015: Scatec Solar ASA (‘SSO’) has published its 2014 Sustainability report. The report is attached to this press release and available for download on www.scatec.com/sustainability.

Scatec Solar is an independent power producer, aiming to make solar a sustainable and affordable source of energy worldwide – sustainability is hence an integral part of the company’s business model. The growth of our business is in itself a positive contribution towards meeting the climate challenge and bridging the global energy gap.

“This sustainability report represents the first of its kind for Scatec Solar. In 2014 we are proud to present a significant step forward with our efforts to further integrate sustainability throughout our value chain. As we continue to expand globally, we strive to be good citizens in the societies where we operate. To be able to conduct our business in a truly sustainable way, it is necessary to work in a structured and systematic manner across all our business segments”, says Scatec Solar CEO Raymond Carlsen.

In 2014, all of our projects were delivered with solid HSE records, and we report one lost time incident across our eight solar power plants throughout the year.
