Situated in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, the Dreunberg plant is in full operation. It is one of the two projects won by Scatec Solar in Round 2 of the REIPPP Program.

Project development

Scatec Solar was awarded the Dreunberg project in December 2011. Financial close was in November 2012.

Project Execution

The construction of the 75 MW power plant was completed in the third quarter 2014. Scatec Solar had the leading role for all EPC activities and managed the construction phase.

Operation and maintenance

Scatec Solar is the operator of the plant through an O&M service contract.
